The services Personnel account for BTH and Student account for BTH are services aimed at staff and students to activate and administer their user account at Blekinge Institute of Technology.
The personal information from the identity issuer (your login service) is used to verify your identity so that you get access to your user account at Blekinge Institute of Technology.
In connection with logging in to this service, the following personal information is requested from the identity issuer you use:

In addition to direct personal data, indirect personal data is also transferred, such as which organization the user belongs to or which identity issuer has been used when logging in. In combination with the above personal data, these can be used to uniquely identify a person.
We check that your identity is staff or students at Blekinge Institute of Technology by retrieving information about you from the identity management database.
No personal data is transferred to third parties.
The user concludes an agreement in connection with retrieving the account. The user account is a prerequisite for being able to work or study at Blekinge Institute of Technology.
In order to be able to carry out our exercise of authority in a legally secure manner, we must be able to verify that it is the right person who retrieves their user account.
For register extracts, correction and deletion of your personal data, contact the personal data manager at BTH.
Correction of personal data transferred in connection with login is done by students in the study administration system Ladok. Staff who want the correct personal information contact the account administrator at the department or the IT Helpdesk.
